"Sarkari Tamboli" - Over 150 years old of tradition, trust and purity.
In the year 1875, a name was added to the glorious history of Indore, which is still synonymous with taste and trust. The name originated from the Holkar royal family, when our ancestor Late. Fursat Ram ji (also fondly called Bacchu Tamboli) got the honour of supplying Paan to the royal family. Due to their behaviour and the purity of Paan, this contract started coming to this family, and gradually this name became famous all over Indore. For this reason, their Paan Shop located in front of Kothari Market in Indore was lovingly called āSarkari Tamboliā by the people. As they used to supply Paan directly to the government, i.e. the royal family. Even today, this name remains the identity of that establishment.
